Travel Tryouts Updates

We're super excited for our June 29th NCYSA Classic Tryouts, and we want to remind parents and players of a few important things.

Be reminded that tryouts will take place at Dr. Raymond B. Pennington Athletic Complex (Northeast Park) in Lumberton, NC on June 29th, starting at 9 a.m. The address of the facility is 900 Meadow Road, Lumberton, NC 28358.

We will first start by reviewing the tryouts and selection process.

1. All players must sign up online PRIOR to attending tryouts
All players will need to be signed up online at www.lumberriverfc.org PRIOR to tryouts. Walk up registrations are subject to a $10 convenience fee, which registrations for tryouts online are COMPLETELY FREE!!!

2. The tryouts time for each age division are listed below:

3. All Players will need to "Check In" at the Check In tent on Tryouts Day
There will be a green Publix tent at the entrance of the fields where players will need to "check in" prior to attending tryouts. All players must be checked in and properly registered online before they will be allowed to participate. All players must have submitted a picture of their birth certificate or proof of age, and they will have to have properly filled out our online registration system and signed the medical waiver prior to attending. This is much easier to do online that it is in person, but we will have forms available for those that walk up to tryouts and want to register. Again, all walk ups are subject to a $10 convenience fee for registering on site the day of tryouts.

4. After Tryouts, Being Selected for a Team
After tryouts, all the coaches will get together and select players for age specific competitive teams. All coaches will have input on team selections, and if a player is selected they will be notified via e-mail. Once they receive this selection for a team they will either have to "Accept" or "Decline" their position on the team, select their payment plan, and begin making payments.

5. Who Can attend tryouts?
Any player and all families are welcome to be members of our club. While we are designed to cater to the needs of Robeson County and Robeson County players, all players no matter what school or county are welcome to become a part of our growing program. All children/players within the age and gender ranges shown above are welcome to attend.
