OUR PURPOSE

The mission

The Lumber River Football Club (LRFC) aims to create an educational environment for players aged 4-18 to learn soccer. Our focus is on ensuring a fun, positive experience for all participants, regardless of gender, in a well-structured, competitive league.

We seek to unite the soccer communities of Robeson County and nearby areas to celebrate and showcase regional talent. Our goal is to foster collaboration, enhancing opportunities for our children.

A portion of registration fees—our main revenue source—supports each team, covering essential costs like player registration, coaching salaries, referee fees, jersey costs, insurance, and field maintenance.

Administrative fees are minimally invested in soccer balls, training gear, and field supplies. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to offering affordable, high-quality opportunities for youth skill development.

Through collaboration with youth, parents, recreation departments, and sponsors, we aim to elevate the game’s competitive level in our county and state.
